Snuggle Up with Light Fidelity

LIGHTWORKER*T‘s music and energy are almost refreshingly warm. His name says it all: touching and moving songs presented with texts full of light. “Folk pop to make you feel well” (Kurier): Harmony and positive sounds which reflect joy in life and ultimately offer more than just a beautiful façade.

LIGHTWORKER*T has been on tour for more than two years now with his series of concerts “Snuggle Up with Light Fidelity” and is still carrying on with his invitation for everyone to snuggle up. His journey brought him from Burgenland (Nova Rock, Golser Folk Festival, Cselley Mühle, etc.) through the whole of Austria, via Hungary, the USA and Germany even as far as Africa.

“Snuggle Up” is another piece of music from the land of sun and harmony which LIGHTWORKER*T designed and produced himself and with which he is moving into a new direction while still remaining faithful to what originally inspired him: folk, rock, pop, groove and funk are so to speak being wound together to an authentic sounding collage and are being sung with songs full of light. For the most part LIGHTWORKER*T plays all the instruments himself in the studio but now and then he also invites guest musicians to join in.

Behind the project LIGHTWORKER*T we find Thomas Matzka from Eisenstadt (the city of Joseph Haydn), the singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, lightworker and visionary. His connection to traditional values, the beauty of nature, love and life itself can also be felt quite clearly in his recent album “Snuggle Up” (2010, Klonk*Records).
